Annual General Meeting

The AGM will be held on 18th November at the Museum of Bath at Work 7.00p.m. Arrivals from 6.30 tea/cake prior to 7.00pm start.  It would be helpful if you could RSVP for catering purposes.

Creating wildlife habitats on allotments - build your own pond led by Shiela Gundry from Froglife

 

Come along to Moorfields Allotments to learn how to boost wildlife on your plot.

A small pond on an allotment provides vital water for birds, bees and insects and attracts beneficial insects, toads, newts and frogs - natural pest control! 

This is a hands on activity so bring along your spade and a bucket. Hope to see you there.

Contemplating ‘putting the allotment to bed’; think again.  Carol Stone will give us plenty of tips about the vegetable seeds we can plant now for harvesting in the autumn months, how to protect our crops to extend the season and which green manures we can sow to nourish our soil for the next growing season.

A Introduction to Regenerative Growing: 13th September 14.00-16.00 LCE site

As a grower would you like to:

This introduction to regenerative growing will explore what we can do and why it works.

Annual Flower and Produce Show: 6th September

Saturday 6th September 2025 14.00 to 17.00, Claverton Down Community Hall

As in previous years, we will be joining with Claverton Down Horticultural Society for the annual flower and produce show. It is a fun afternoon out for all the family with wonderful displays  of flowers, fruit , veg, jams, wines and lots more. Plenty of activities for children and delicious homemade cakes and tea. Growing Perennial and Unusual Vegetables: 16th August

Cut down on labour, choose plants that reliably come back each year. Come along to the session led by Carol Stone 11-12.30 on 16th August 2025 at Foxhill Allotments.
