Pond Workshop

Following last year’s BioBlitz on the Claremont allotment site , several recommendations were made to enhance biodiversity. These included:

• planting native wildflowers in uncultivated areas

• creating additional ponds 

• installing more bird boxes in the trees

To begin implementing these ideas, we’ve identified a number of locations across the site and will be hosting several community volunteer events throughout the year.

Three plots have already been identified, and we’d love your help to bring them to life. Ideally, we’d like more plots to have ponds so if you would like a pond added to your own plot, please let us know.
