Small Projects

The Association offers small grants of up to £500 for communal projects on sites.

In order to qualify, projects should meet the following criteria:

 

• There is a clearly identified need for the project and it aligns with the objectives and with the priorities of the Association.

• There is general agreement among Association members on the site that the project  provides them with a real benefit;

• Relevant stakeholders have been consulted and are in agreement with the project aims and plans for delivery;

• There is a realistic plan for delivering the project within budget and an agreed time frame;

• The project isn’t part of the Council’s remit i.e. is not something that the Council should provide/do as part of its statutory functions;

• Other avenues for funding have been explored and no other funders can be found;

• Preference will be given to those projects that involve an element of matching funding, either in financial terms or as volunteer contributions.
